'Tis the season to be thankful. Instead of griping about the things I'd like to change or the hardships I've endured I want to share with you all of the things I am thankful for.
Family and friends of course. Granted, I don't see them often, but I know they all love and support me. Well, as much as they can even though it's a business they don't understand. This whole year has been a struggle of things I can't control, but also the most successful year for my career.
I filmed a LOT! I wrote, filmed, directed, edited and acted in a web series. I got it on IMDB and into a festival. This was something I once thought only people who went to film school or was associated with someone "important" was able to accomplish. I just got new representation both theatrically and commercially. That will be next weeks blog. My editing skills have gone from eh to pretty good. My back is well and I'm healthy. It just feels like a successful year.
Also, did I ever tell you that the first thing I ever wanted to be as a kid was a writer. Most kids will say rock star, astronaut, or a doctor, well, I wanted to be a writer and guess what, I'm doing it! I never specified as a seven year old what kind of writer I wanted to be, so this definitely counts. Bucket list, check!
AND, of course, I am thankful for those who take a few minutes out of their day to read these blogs and watch my videos. I appreciate it more than you know. Thanks Darwheezy for being awesome and allowing me to write on your page :) Have a good holiday and be careful everyone!
